Saint John Neumann, obtain for me perfect resignation to the will of God, that I may accept in peace, sufferings, contempt, persecutions, loss of goods, and reputation, and finally death itself.. Obtain for me also the special favor which I now ask through your intersession with God. Amen

John neumann was born in Bohemia on March 20, 1811. Since he had a great desire to dedicate himself to the a American missions, he came to the United States as a cleric and was ordained in New York in 1836.
